Today's meeting of the Belgian Plastics and Rubber Institute was centered on a visit to Soudal's facilities in Turnhout. The group had about twenty participants with an evenly distributed number of Dutch and Belgian attendees.
Soudal produces silicones, PU, MS Polymer and PU foam in Turnhout, among other things. They produce and sell worldwide and have approximately 1,400 employees.
In 2011, Soudal received the "Entrepreneur of the Year Award" for Belgium.

Over the past 45 years, Soudal has grown 12-15% annually.
The factories are constantly being changed and furtherexpanded.
The next BPRI company visit is scheduled for September 13, 2012. This concerns the plastics company deceuninck in Hooglede-Gits, listed on Euronext Brussels.
