Following the successful introduction of the PTFE adhesive positioning units for test specimens for the Shear test EN 1465, a version for manufacturing Roller Peel test specimens according to EN 1464 will soon be available.
The sample-maker is once again milled from a single sheet of PTFE material, so the adhesive does not stick to the adhesive template but releases easily. This means simple cleaning and undamaged samples.
Six test strips of 275 mm by 25 mm can be manufactured simultaneously. These strips are tested using the Roller Peel test setup in a tensile testing machine, which provides insight into the peel resistance of various adhesive systems and surface treatments.
Like the pricing of the adhesive positioning units for the Shear test, the pricing for these units has also been kept extra low, so that the barrier to purchasing this type of professional, convenient tool remains low.
