Today the successful BondExpo 2012 came to a close. This relatively small trade show (covering approximately two-thirds of hall 7) attracts major players in the adhesive world. 3M came with an innovative new product: a 2C Epoxy that changes color as it cures!
Red: Components are separate, unmixed and available Yellow: Components are mixed and ready for application Green: The adhesive is cured There is also a color progression within the green range from light green (end of potlife) to dark green (fully cured).
What an excellent development! 3M plans to introduce this product globally in 2013, initially based on 2C Epoxy only. Hopefully the success will be so great that they will also introduce a similar solution for MMA and 2C PU.
