From September onwards, recognized training courses in adhesive technology and composite repair technology will be offered at the Gilze Rijen location Gate2 Aerospace & Maintenance, for the aviation sector and others. Due to their generic design, the training courses are applicable to all industrial sectors.
Engineering bureau Makiba from Zevenbergen is, together with Sergem Engineering, a cooperative partner of Fraunhofer IFAM in the Benelux. For the past year and a half, internationally recognized training courses have been conducted in the industrial application of adhesive techniques for the Dutch and Flemish Adhesive Specialist and Adhesive Technician.
Midpoint Brabant stimulates regional economic development in Central Brabant. Joining technology and development of the Aerospace & Maintenance campus Gate2 are focal points within the Aerospace & Maintenance Program of Midpoint Brabant. Certified training courses in adhesive technology and composite repair technology therefore fit perfectly at Gate2.
Lijmacademie.nl is the name of the partnership between Midpoint Brabant and the aforementioned parties. During the summer months, a facility will be set up at Gate2 to provide the adhesive training courses. The first course is for Adhesive Specialist and starts on Friday, September 14, 2012.
