New adhesive practice facility at RDM Campus in Rotterdam
Today the new adhesive practice facility at RDM Campus was unveiled.
The collaboration between Albeda College and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in the European subsidy program POYO has produced an excellent result.
Initially, the facility will be used for regular education, but Makiba has already started discussions to use the facility for corporate training as soon as possible.
The fact that Makiba was involved in the initial phase via the Joint Venture Lijmpraktijk B.V. in creating this initiative at RDM Campus remains noticeable in several ways. For example, the project organization has taken good note of the facilities at Fraunhofer IFAM and projects by Lijmpraktijk/Makiba are mentioned as leading examples in the presentations.
Ultimately, the aim is to have these facilities certified by the Dutch Institute for Welding Technology to the status of Authorized Training Body. However, there is still quite a bit to be done for that...
