Consultation with VKCN management representation leads to postponement.
The survey conducted at the end of September among Dutch knowledge centers, suppliers and processors of GVK materials confirmed the need for staff training in the sector. Following an initiative by VAPRO and VKCN, a complete training program has recently been set up at three levels. These trainings are valued by the Dutch parties.
At this time, (generic) personal certification at European level is not considered to add extra value within the GVK sector. It has therefore been agreed to put this development on hold for now.
Regarding the carbon fiber composites sector, this matter is somewhat different, partly due to a higher degree of European cooperation. Further information will follow.
